Maria Elena’s background includes IT consulting, business analysis, vendor management, contract negotiation, and unpaid psychologist (she earned a B.S. in psychology at the University of South Florida). She is very active in her professional and local community with leadership positions with Women’s Council of REALTORS®, Stellar MLS, Hillsborough County Florida – Land Use Appeals Board, Lutz Citizens Coalition, Tampa Area Realtors D6 Leadership Program, and BNI Prosperity in Action.

Liz Welch, owner/broker, sincerely believes customer service is paramount. Her enthusiasm and positive attitude are contagious as she listens intently to your real estate needs. She stays focused on those goals and handles any issue gracefully and with tenacity. Liz values relationships above anything else.
There are many facets to real estate. Besides being a local expert, Liz Welch is focused, fair, and firm when expertly negotiating and calmly navigating complexity. Fueled by a Midwestern work ethic, Liz is reliably by your side throughout the process. She has decades of experience creating synergy with respect, ethics, creativity, tenacity, and a customer-centric focus.
Liz began her real estate career in 2011, became a broker in 2016, and created Synergistic Real Estate in 2019. In 2021, she started Synergistic Property Management to augment her residential and commercial offerings. Recently, she added Community Association Management to the Synergistic family of real estate companies. She specializes in Hillsborough, Pinellas, and Pasco counties.
Before her successful career in real estate, she honed her problem-solving skills while she supervised operations for several companies and, most recently, as the manager of Operations for Nielsen Research, which brought her to Tampa. Liz also owned and operated a gift basket boutique. During that time, she received recognition as “Small Business of the Year” by the Chamber of Commerce in her hometown of Omaha, NE.
As part of her commitment to excellence, Liz holds several specialties, including Certified Residential Specialist, Certified Senior Residential Specialist, and Certified Distressed Property Specialist. She holds professional and local community leadership positions with the Women’s Council of REALTORS®, Stellar MLS, Florida REALTORS®, Barrio Latino Commission – City of Tampa, Ybor Community Development Corporation (YCDC), and BNI Tampa – Dealmakers.
Dear to her heart is the non-profit Entheos Leadership, which she founded and is currently executive director. Entheos Leadership provides unique opportunities and experiences for “at-risk” young men in Tampa Bay.

Pat Lawrence has been involved in real estate for over 25 years, specializing in single-family sales and property management. She is a GRI (Graduate of the Real Estate Institute) and has lived in the Tampa Bay area for over 50 years, watching the value of all Real Estate in Central Florida grow leaps and bounds. Pat loves Real Estate and working with owners and tenants in Property Management.

Deb Garbo relocated to Tampa more than 40 years ago to escape the winters in Illinois and take advantage of the opportunities in Florida. Deb leverages her experience to give hands-on service to her clients and treats the buying and selling process as if she were buying the property. After remodeling and selling homes, she realized her real estate passion over 20 years ago. Educating the client is the backbone of her exceptional customer service.
Deb wholeheartedly believes that owning real estate is the American dream, can provide a secure financial future, and is not just for high-wage earners. Real estate opportunities are available for first-time or seasoned investment property buyers. Her clients can use her many years of leasing and property management experience. Deb owned two video stores in Pinellas County and a perfume shop in South Tampa and became an expert in these areas. She started her career as a special education teacher, using her BA in education. When not helping her real estate clients, Deb breeds Havanese dogs, a small breed native to Cuba.
