Comprehensive Tenant Screening is key. We understand that a problematic tenant can be very costly in terms of time, money, and frustration. While no background check can completely eliminate risk, our screening process will substantially lower the possibility of future problems ~ we do our homework. Once an application is received, the following takes place:
- Photo ID Verification (applications are required for those over 18 living in the property)
- Both National and State Background Checks ~ this includes Sex Offender, Terrorist, and Criminal checks
- Credit report check, including score, full payment history, and Past Evictions
- Full review of any accounts in collections or judgments filed
- Verification of current employer
- Obtain copies of current bank statements if self-employed
- Confirmation of rental history, including contact of previous landlords around payment history, property conditions, and nuisance issues
